FP 3% AR
Overview
Fomtec FP 3% AR is an alcohol-resistant fluoro-protein foam concentrate (FP-ARC) composed of hydrolyzed protein hydrolysate, fluorocarbon and hydrocarbon surfactants, polymers, solvents, and stabilizers. Formulated with 100% C6 pure fluoro-surfactants and fluoro-polymers, it effectively combats both hydrocarbon and polar solvent fires.

Applications
Fomtec FP 3% AR is tested according to IMO 1312 for use on Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires, such as oil and diesel, as well as polar solvent fires like IPA and acetone. It can also be used on Class A fires involving materials like wood, paper, and textiles. Typical applications include high-risk installations, especially in marine environments where IMO and MED approvals are required.

- Specific Gravity at 20°C: 1.15 ± 0.020 g/ml
- Viscosity at 20°C: < 50 mPas (spindle #4, 60 rpm)
- pH: 6.0 – 8.5
- Freezing Point: -15°C
- Recommended Storage Temperature: -14°C to 55°C
- Suspended Sediment (v/v): < 0.2%
Storage and Shelf Life
