Overview

Fomtec P 6% is a fluorine-free protein foam concentrate formulated from hydrolyzed protein, foam boosters, stabilizers, and preservatives. It creates a tough, stable, and heat-resistant foam blanket on hydrocarbon fuels, offering exceptional burnback resistance to prevent re-ignition. The recommended application rate is 6% concentrate to 94% water.

Applications:

Fomtec P 6% targets Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires, including oil, petroleum, and kerosene. It suits low expansion applications and excels in mobile firefighting with aspirating foam discharge devices like foam branchpipes and monitors. Firefighters can adjust application rates and techniques to fit each incident.

• Appearance: Dark brownish liquid
• Specific Gravity at 20°C: 1.14 ± 0.01 g/ml
• Viscosity at 20°C: ≤ 30 mPas
• pH: 6.0 – 8.0
• Freezing Point: -16°C
• Recommended Storage Temperature: -16°C to 55°C
• Suspended Sediment (v/v): < 0.2%
• Surface Tension: ≥ 45.0 dynes/cm

Storage and Shelf Life:
